Russian Sukhoi Superjets' Production
My sixth visit to Komsomolsk-na-Amure city and an aviation plant KNAAZ happened five years after my last visit here. Some years before the plant just begun to produce Superjets, I came here every six months as a TASS agency photo correspondent.
We had just one day for the tour and pictures TSOS KnAF GSS (the workshop of assembly of civil airplanes Sukhoi Superjet), and it was not enough. For that reason I have added additional pictures to my review.

1. For the moment there are nine jets in the workshop. You can see six, other three are hiding over the wall.
2. For comparison this is the workshop in 2006. A poster that says "RRJ will become alive here" is on the wall. RRJ, or Russian Regional Jet, is the first name of Sukhoi Superjet. Rebranding took place at the Farnborough International Airshow in 2006.

The airplane N95002 was assembled first for all tests and red tapes. On the January 28 2007 the airplane was transported in the airplane Ruslan to TSAGI for tests, which took a few years.
